1. Get ready for Christmas It’s never too early! I mean it’s basically Christmas time once Thanksgiving is over...right? Get ready by decorating and maybe even doing some Christmas shopping. 2. Cleaning This is the perfect time to do some fall cleaning. It’s a time when you’re not loaded down with school work, so you have the time to clean everything, including that mess under the bed. 3. Go to a local Thanksgiving parade You can watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade or go to a Thanksgiving parade in your area. Go with family or friends and have some fun. |
4. Connect with family
Talk to family that you haven’t seen or talked to in a long time. Share stories and have conversations with family members. This is one of those times where you’re all together so it’s perfect!
5. Help someone in need
Volunteer at a local food bank, homeless shelter, or soup kitchen. Even put together care packages to give out to homeless.
6. Help make Thanksgiving dinner
Don’t leave all the cooking duties to one person! Help out in the kitchen and use the time to talk and have a fun conversation.
7. Binge watch shows & movies
This is the perfect time to binge watch Netflix, Hulu, or whatever you choose. On break it’s acceptable to lay in your bed for 3 days straight binge watching a show. Stranger Things anyone?
8. Cyber monday shopping
Avoid the commotion, stay in your jammies and enjoy the deals from the comfort of your own home. Maybe even get some Christmas shopping done.
9. Autumn photoshoots
Autumn weather is perfect for pictures outside. Family pictures, pictures with friends, pictures by yourself, whatever you’re up for. Everyone does it, so let's all join in and be basic.
10. Black friday Shopping
If you want to be a part of the madness go for it! Take advantage of the major in store deals.
