The Boys Water Polo team has definitely raised their game since the previous seasons, and Joe Bustabade has lit the way for the 2016-2017 team. Coach Daniel McilHatton is proud to have Bustabade represent Buhach Colony and ball out in the pool. “Joe has improved greatly since his sophomore year. Joe is the mainstay of our defense. He takes on the opposing team’s number one Center (2 meter man) every game and shuts them down! By doing this, Joe makes it easier on the rest of our team to play defense. Joe, offensively, is among the the top two leaders in assists, goals, and steals for BCHS. Joe's play has made it easy to select him as Buhach Colony's Varsity Boys Player of the Month.” Not only is Joe Bustabade over six feet tall and a gamer in the pool, but he is also a junior! He will be back next year ready to tear up another season.
How does it feel to be elected Athlete of the Month? It feels really great to be recognized and elected Athlete of the Month. If you could have a superpower what would it be? It would be the ability to breathe underwater, do you know how much faster I could swim?! If you were a fruit which one would you be and why? I would be a pineapple because they can be sour and pretty sweet! |
