Buhach Gives Back
The black and gold rack is the newest charitable program by Buhach. Created and lead by student support secretary Angela Jackson, the black and gold rack is a system in which anyone whether it be students or staff, can donate clothes for others in need. The special thing about this system is that anyone can take what is donated. The purpose of the black and gold rack is to help students who have a wardrobe malfunction like having their clothes splashed by water, spilling food or drink, or students who break dress code who can’t have clothes brought to them.
New Food on the Menu
The food selection at Buhach Colony is going to be overhauled. According to principal Steve Hobbs “We are going to be getting better, healthier food options. We’re even getting a grill too.” This is exciting news for most students because they are tired of the same food options that we usually have.
Baskets of Fun
The new basketball season is upon us and the school spirit is coming in waves. Many students are eager to cheer on their teams and experience the thrill of being at a home game. The team’s current league record is 2-1 with an exciting game coming up on Friday vs Atwater high on their turf. Come out to support our boys!
Thor’s Hammers in the Thunder
Some have asked the question regarding Thor's Hammer at the front of the school. Last year's graduating class donated their class money to paint the front of the school with "Buhach Colony", which will now include a hammer in the middle. The metal hammer will not be placed out at the wall of the pool. The pool wall will have a sign "Buhach Colony Aquatics Center" with the hammer as part of the sign.
