Robotics Team Competes in Madera Competition
Congratulations to the Thunder Robotics Team for their great accomplishments as they competed at the Central Valley Robotics Competition in Madera. Computer teacher Jorge Sanchez-Alejandre spoke on the competition:
Out of 47 teams, we ranked 6th overall with a record of 7 Wins, and 2 losses. We were one of only two teams that were ranked top 10 in both offense and defense and made it to the quarterfinals where we went to sudden death eliminations round before our run ended with scores of:
330-285, 0-305, 305-232
We earned the award: Highest Rookie Seed
